Capintec Jaszczak SPECT Phantom
The Capintec Jaszczak SPECT Phantom provides consistent performance information for any SPECT or PET system. A single scan evaluates multiple performance characteristics of camera-based SPECT systems, including resolution, contrast, uniformity, and attenuation and scatter compensation. It is widely used for acceptance testing, routine quality control, and reconstruction parameter optimization.
Key Features:
- Single-scan evaluation of multiple SPECT performance characteristics
- Line spread function measurable on-axis and off-axis without removing the cover plate
- Full-width at half and tenth maximum measurable in air or in water
- Cold rods for resolution assessment and solid spheres for contrast assessment
- PMMA cylinder with 3.2 mm wall thickness for consistent imaging geometry
- Available in Deluxe model for high-resolution systems
- Compatible with inserts for PET and SPECT phantoms, including triple line and cardiac inserts
Applications:
- Collimator and system performance evaluation
- Acceptance testing and routine quality control
- Center-of-rotation error and non-uniformity artifact evaluation
- Radius-of-rotation effects on spatial resolution
- Reconstruction filter and attenuation and scatter compensation evaluation
- Single slice and total system volume sensitivity
- Lesion detectability assessment
